Being the network player it is, the AVR-X3100W puts its dual Wi-Fi antenna and built-in Bluetooth at your service. With AirPlay, Spotify Connect and Gapless HD Audio streaming featured, it invites you to enjoy everything that network has to offer. The AVR-X3100W's advanced video processor is equipped to handle future 4K Ultra HD 60p full rate content as well as featuring 4:4:4 Pure Colour 4K sub-sampling pass-through, both features of the latest HDMI specification. Moreover, it has 7 + 1 HDMI inputs with up-scaling to 1080p and even 4K 60p. The powerful 7 channel amplifier section features identical power amp design on all channels along with high current discrete power output devices. At the same time, our new Eco amplifier mode automatically adjusts power output based on volume level, and an on-screen Eco meter lets you see the power consumption savings in real time.

Built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirPlay and DLNA

Stream your favourite tracks wirelessly to the AVR-X3100W directly from your Bluetooth-enabled portable devices, such as a smartphone, portable media player and tablet. The AVR-X3100W can recognize and remember up to 8 Bluetooth portable devices, so your family and friends can enjoy their favourite tracks. With the built-in Wi-Fi feature, you can connect the AVR-X3100W to your home network wirelessly and open up a whole new world of content streaming functions, including over 18,000 of internet radio stations as well as the ability to stream subscription service Spotify via very latest Spotify Connect scheme. With AirPlay, you can wirelessly stream your favourite audio tracks directly from your iOS device, including the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. DLNA 1.5 certification lets you enjoy streaming content via your PC, Mac or Android device. Via our Denon Remote App, you can wirelessly control the AVR-X3100W from your favourite portable device. The Denon Remote App is available in iOS and Android versions, and is also available for the Kindle Fire.

8 HDMI Inputs, Two separate HDMI Outputs

Equipped with no less than 8 HDMI inputs, the AVR-X3100W features 7 HDMI inputs on the rear panel, along with another HDMI input on the front panel that lets you conveniently connect your favourite game console, HDTV camcorder or other HDMI device. The 2 HDMI outputs are capable of carrying two different content signals, one for the main room, and one for zone output.

Powerful 7 Channel Discrete Amplifier with Eco Mode

With each channel rated at a maximum power of 215 W, the AVR-X3100W features a power amplifier design that incorporates multiple high current discrete output devices, with identical circuit topology on all 7 channels. Our new Eco Mode provides the ability to reduce overall power consumption and features an on-screen Eco Meter that lets you see the power consumption reduction effect. The Auto Eco mode automatically switches between normal and Eco modes, depending on the volume level chosen, and the power amplifier block is rated to drive low impedance speaker loads, down to 4 O, for compatibility and stability with virtually any loudspeaker model.

Audyssey MultEQ XT Built-in

The AVR-X3100W features Audyssey MultEQ XT room acoustic measurement and DSP correction. Via the supplied measuring microphone, the MultEQ system first measures actual in-room response from all the speakers, including the subwoofer, and then quickly generates multiple precision digital filters that ensure the smoothest possible response. And the step-up MultEQ XT technology provides for more measurement points (up to 8 positions) and generates higher accuracy digital filters. The AVR-X3100W is also Audyssey Pro ready for the most advanced professional room correction.

Multi-Room Listening

Thanks to the AVR-X3100W's flexible Amp Assign function, you can choose to power a 5.1 channel home theater surround system, and dedicate the 2 additional amp channels to deliver stereo sound to a pair of speakers in another room. Watch a surround sound movie in the main room with the ability to have a separate stereo source playing in a second room.

Dual Subwoofer Outputs

Depending on the location of the subwoofer in a listening room relative to the listening position, the deep bass quality can be marred by in-room resonances that negatively affect bass quality, with peaks and dips that together produce boomy bass and muddy bass detail. Equipped with dual subwoofer outputs, the AVR-X3100W lets you use two subwoofers, placed in different locations in the listening room. By having two subs in different locations in the room, the bass quality can very often be significantly better due to response averaging, with smoother, deeper bass free of annoying peaks and dips.
